september 2010. the residential building cooperative in bitterfeld-wolffen had a problem. in the puschkinstreet in bitterfeld some houses are abandonned already a long time. it would be too expensive to restaure the buldings, but also to break them down. what can we do? christina schliebe and till apfel, two design students of dessau, developed a design for all the windows of these house in the second floor. now these houses are more protected and also more beautiful. the images suggest life, former life and life in future. many inhabitants of bitterfeld have appreciated this project.
